The seat of the model DDI-372310 is constructed out of composite or engineered wood that is made of wood fibers and strips glued together and covered with veneer sheets. It is curved both in front and at the back, with former pointing downwards while the latter is upwards. This provides an abbreviated backrest that supports your lower back.
Framing the wooden seat is a flat steel with a polished chrome finish. This frame extends downwards and doubles as a footrest to keep your feet from dangling in the air. A large-diameter solitary steel tube, also finished in polished chrome, props the seat. Inside this tube is a mechanism that allows the seat to swivel up to 360° and adjust its height. You only need to pull a lever to activate its gas hydraulic piston lift system and raising it from a height of 21 to 30 inches. These features make getting on or off the stool easy. And because of its adjustable height, it is perfect from both adults and children.
The entire stool stands on a large circular steel base. Like all the other metal components, it is also chromed. A rubber ring is glued to its bottom to protect wood floors from scratches and to keep it from freely sliding on granite or marble floors.
