Boraam Scrollback Swivel Counter Stool
Crafted with a classic design, the Boraam Scrollback Swivel Counter Stool blends perfectly with bars and kitchens constructed with a touch of the traditional where wood cupboards, cabinets, and counters dominate. Constructed of solid hardwood finished in either light cherry or black, the barstool exudes a timeless elegance.
The wood back and frame of the bar stool is complemented with the black faux leather seat enveloping a thick foam. You can sit for hours on this chair without feeling uncomfortable as you chat with your favorite cook preparing dinner. Or you can have a leisurely informal meal on the breakfast bar while seated on the Boraam.
The seat is circular and it rests on a durable ball-bearing allowing it a full 360° swivel. Getting on, or off, the stool is easy. You do not have to move it away from the bar for it. Simply rotate the seat and sit back.
The top rail of the backrest is slightly curved, loosely following the contour of the seat. Between the stiles is an elaborately crafted wood splat in a scroll design. Cut to look like three overlapping ovals with two arcs on both sides, the backseat provides a solid back support yet it remains cool and airy.
The legs flare outwards from the apron then do so again before they hit the floor, making them look like a letter “S” struggling to straighten up. The lower flare, however, does more than exhibit a traditional style. It helps stabilize the stool.
A ring of wood joins the four legs together for added support further stabilizing the stool. It also has the added function of serving as a footrest to keep your feet from dangling uncomfortably.
Dimensions of the Boraam Scrollback Swivel Counter Stool are 37.5″ H x 18″ W x 22″ D. Seat height can either be 24″ or 29″. The stool finished in light cherry is referred to as Item No. 331887 while the one in black is 331888.
