Hillsdale Ciera Swivel Bar Stool
Constructed with a high backrest and a round cushioned seat, the Hillsdale Ciera Swivel Bar Stool is a comfortable chair to sit on as you linger over your coffee and pancakes at the breakfast bar. It sports a transitional design making it feel at home in all types of kitchens, from classical to contemporary.
The frame of the Ciera is made of metal, some of which are tubular, at least one is flat, and still others square. The stiles of the backrest bend backward slightly allowing you to lean back comfortably. Such a slight bend also adds grace and style to the stool. The middle and bottom rails hold a vee-shaped splat wrapped with 100% polyester faux suede to support your back, while the top rail acts as a handle when swiveling the stool.
The thickly cushioned seat is upholstered with the same faux suede. Underneath it is a swiveling mechanism that allows it to rotate 360°. There are, however, no armrests on the seat.
With legs that flare at their bottom ends, the bar stool stands solidly and firmly. Two rings fastened to the legs also help provide stability, with the bottom ring performing the additional function of providing a footrest. The feet are covered with plastic to prevent them from scratching or scuffing the floor.
The stool’s polyester upholstery comes in four colors –black, brown, fawn, and red— while the metal components can either be black or pewter. You can have the stools in any upholstery and frame color combination you want.
Overall height of the Hillsdale Ciera Swivel Bar Stool is 45 inches. Seat height, on the other hand, is 30 inches, which is just the right height for a breakfast or liquor bar. The round seat is 17 inches in diameter, but with the backrest, the depth of the stool goes up to 20 inches.
