Hillsdale Midtown Counter Stool
With its round seat, resting on round metal seat rails, upholstered in black faux leather and the black metal back posts sandwiching a rich warm cherry wood backrest, the Hillsdale Midtown Counter Stool exudes elegance and beauty.
The back posts rise from behind the seat and slightly bend backwards but at the end, they curl into a coil into which the top rail is inserted. There is another rail below it which provides additional strength to the posts, and which attaches to the cherry wood splat or back rest.
Below the seat rail are two other rounded rails providing support to the 360° swivel mechanism and the upper portion of the legs. All rails are in black metal, as are the legs and the foot rail below which is also in the shape of a ring. The legs are contoured, widening at the bottom starting right below the footrest. This does not only add style to the stool. It also provides stability.
