Holsag International Carole Bar Stool
Featuring a transitional design, the Holsag International Carole Bar Stool is a versatile furniture that can be installed in any breakfast bar, commercial bar, or any place where a bar stool may be used. This updated classic successfully blends curves and straight lines to create a simple yet elegant work of art.
Made of solid European Beech hardwood and constructed with mortise and tenon joints, the bar stool is a sturdy chair that can take the abuse common in pubs and clubs. The joints are further reinforced with 18 gauge brad nails as well as high solid glue.
The backrest is styled in a ladderback design, having three horizontal mid rails. These rails, along with the wider top rail, curve backwards, following the contours of your back. The stiles to which the rails are fastened also curve backward, giving them a touch of grace. Midway down to the legs, they take a straight posture, and curve backward again, providing not only style but also stability to the stool.
The front legs are simpler, plunging directly down to the ground in an upright line, with a slight taper at the feet.
A cushioned seat wrapped in upholstery rests on wide and sturdy aprons. While its front end and sides are straight, its rear is rounded, giving it the appearance of an ellipse that has been cut in half. As for the upholstery, you can choose between vinyl and fabrics. For both types, there are very long lists of colors and designs to choose from.
The wood frame of the Holsag International Carole Bar Stool is also available in different finishes. There over 20 colors you can choose from black, through coffee, emerald, sky blue, to fuchsia.
To keep the bar stool stable, two sets of braces are fastened to the legs. These follow the contour of the seat with its straight front and sides, and curved back. The front section of the lower brace doubles as the footrest. And to protect it from scratches, it is wrapped with either a brass or chrome metal casing.
The bar stool is available in seat heights of 24 and 30 inches, with overall heights of 40 and 46 respectively. Depth and width of the seat are identical at 17 inches.
