Michaelo 214107 Bicycle Wheel Adjustable Barstool

For a fun yet functional barstool in your breakfast or wine and liquor bar, the Michaelo 214107 Bicycle Wheel Adjustable Barstool is a great option. It is made of replicas of bicycle wheels including spokes and pedals.

The two wheels are actually made of iron instead of rubber. The bigger of these is stood up taking the place of the normal post or legs of a barstool. It stands on the second smaller wheel which acts as the base of the barstool. The rings of the two wheels are tubular. Both have eight spokes each to support the rings, but those of the standing wheel are made of round bars while the base wheel has flat bars. Attached to the hub of the upright wheel is a pair of simulated pedals that act as the footrest.

The seat of the Michaelo 214107 is a round fir wood firmly held in place by a metal ring. It is connected to the wheel via a mechanism consisting of a fixed hollow post with threads inside, and a shaft with a compatible thread screwed into the post. It is the shaft that is fastened to the underside of the seat so that when it is rotated it is adjusted either up or down.

The fir is given a natural wood finish that enhances its grains and burls giving it a unique character. The iron base, on the other hand, is available in neutral colors allowing it to blend with any décor. You can, of course, always paint it any color you wish.

The Michaelo 214107 Bicycle Wheel Adjustable Bartool stands 27.5 inches at its lowest, but with the seat adjusted to its maximum, this reaches up to 34.75 inches. At its widest point, the barstool is 21.25 inches wide; while its depth, at its deepest, is 19.5 inches. Seat diameter is 13.25 inches.
