With the Monterey Bar Chair Model SB 751509, you can sit on one for as long as you like, having a leisurely breakfast on your kitchen counter, or a glass of your favorite wine on your bar, whether indoors or on the patio.
The frame of the Monterey Bar Chair is made of aircraft aluminum giving it a good fatigue strength and making it lightweight. To protect it from corrosion, it is electrostatically coated with a dry white powder. This coating is then heat-cured turning it into the aluminum’s second skin.
The backrest and seat are made of Sunbrella fabric, said to be as much as 10 times stronger than conventional fabrics, water repellent, breathable, and resistant to fading and bleaching. The bar chair is fitted with WoodTec arms and footrest which resist mold and mildew as well as fading.
Stainless steel hardware brace the chair’s legs keeping them from spreading too far apart from each other when opened. Rubber is installed on the feet preventing both slipping and scuffing the floor.
Weight tests show the chair to be able to carry 600 pounds. The seat is 18.5 inches wide and 28 inches high, while the backrest reaches up to 44 inches high. The fabric for these is available in a number of colors –marine blue, orange, silver, white, Pacific blue, burgundy, forest green, jockey red, gray, and jet black.
