Nuevo Opener NVO-HGYH106 Modern Adjustable Stool
Decidedly contemporary in both its design and materials, the Nuevo Opener NVO-HGYH106 Modern Adjustable Stool makes a fine furniture in front of any breakfast or wine bar designed along the same contemporary concepts.
The stool has a low-backed armless chair that integrates a footrest. There is an oval opening at the back of the chair, presumably a handle for swiveling or moving the entire stool. It is curved following the contours of your back allowing you to lean comfortably into it. The seat is also contoured making sitting cozy and relaxed. A pair of legs drops vertically from the front of the seat which culminates in a horizontal bar that acts as the footrest to keep your feet from dangling from the chair.
The chair, consisting of the backrest, seat, and footrest, is a single piece molded polyvinyl chloride or PVC. It is painted with a high gloss coating that reflects any ray of light shining on it. Only two colors are available though –black and white.
Supporting the chair is a steel tube finished in shiny chrome. Inside it is the swivel mechanism and a gas lift feature, allowing you to rotate the chair up to 360° making getting on or off quick and easy even if it is installed very close to the bar, and to move the seat up to a bar counter or down to a dining table. Range of adjustment of seat height is from 21″ to 31″.
The tubular support, in turn, stands on a round base which is also finished in shiny chrome. It is large enough to provide stability to the stool.
Dimensions of the Nuevo Opener NVO-HGHY106 are 14″ D x 16″ W x 25″ H if the seat is fully down, but this height adjusts to 35, if the seat is all the way up. Footrest height also varies with seat height, starting at 5.5″ to 15.5″.
