The Poly-Wood Bar Stool with Arms PLW-CCB30 is constructed for outdoor use. It can take on the sun, snow, and even salty air that is often corrosive. Its colors stand fast in spite of exposure to the elements. This is because it is 100% constructed out of recycled plastics that are subjected to heat as high as 400°F and then extruded to form specific shapes. Called plastic lumber in the industry because they can be worked using woodworking tools, these are durable, impervious to rot, resistant to cracking and splitting, low-maintenance, and can be molded with simulated wood grains. Even after their original use, plastic lumber remains 100% recyclable.
Apart from being eco-friendly and durable, the Poly-Wood Bar Stool also features an elegantly simple no-frills design. Its lines are straight including the backrest and arms. The tall backrest has horizontal slats allowing air flow even while sitting back and relaxing. Arms are provided so you can rest your own while holding a glass of wine or a can of beer.
The seat is not upholstered but a pillow with strings is tied to the posts. This makes cleaning and washing it easier. The leg posts, also in straight lines, are supported by two sets of braces, one of which doubles as a footrest. These braces provide a very solid reinforcement as they link each leg to the two others next to it.
Poly-Wood offers the PLW-CCB30 in six colors –black, brown, green, tan, mahogany, and white. Its seat measures 24-inch square with the backrest standing up to 49 inches. Its seat height can vary from 28 to 32 inches.
