The seat is of a unique design, crafted to look like an oversized bowl. From the front end, a handle-like extension rises in a slant towards the back. By the time it gets to the rearmost part of the seat, following the latter’s rounded shape, it is high enough to support the back of the sitter. From where it rises, however, it is not high enough to be an armrest as well.
Made of polypropylene, the z-3000 stool is virtually impervious to water. Even if your little one spills water, milk, or chocolate on the stool, you need not worry about staining. It likewise has a very high melting point, so even if the milk and chocolate are hot, the seat will not warp or deform. To provide it additional protection and an attractive sheen, it is coated with ABS Epoxy resin.
The seat swivels 360°, which means it is easier to get on or out of the stool without pulling it away and pushing it towards the counter. A single strong and stout tube that is finished in chrome supports the seat. It stands on a circular base, also finished in chrome, which is large enough to provide a stable and solid support.
Within the seat post is a hydraulic mechanism that smoothly raises or lowers the seat even when a 250-pound person is on it. It is activated by a lever mounted just below the seat.
To keep your feet from hanging as you are seated, a footrest with same chrome finish is mounted on the seat post.
